Trickle Charge 2 12v batts in parallel question???

So we bought our TT in late Sept. Got 10 nights and 1000 miles of camping in. Now we've winterized and I'll be adding a cheap-o solar trickle charger to the batteries which are two crummy Interstate "...

Batteries in parallel act as one big battery.

I leave my battery in place and use the OEM battery disconnect switch, and turn the Converter circuit breaker off. I use a Battery Minder to keep the battery charged.
