That rack there is $400+. A tow dolly new will be around $1400+ new (might find a decent used one for around $800. You will need to make sure the tow dolly has brakes. If not, additional cost. And then if the RV has a brake controller. If not, additional cost. You are already looking at a quarter of your $6000 budget. Forget flat towing the car because it will cost you nearly half your budget when said and done including the bike rack. Not much left for a slightly decent and reliable motorhome. However, if you could trade your car in on a truck (evenly), that $6000 will get you a decent used TT..And you will have on less motor to worry about.
