Turning on the furance also turned on the roof AC

When I turned on the furnace in the camper for the first time last week, it also turned on the roof AC. The roof AC was not blowing cold air, it was more like circulating the air. Is this normal? I tu...

I've got that same control. Put it so the light is on fan. Cycle until fan is on "auto". Now move the light to furnace. The roof a/c should not come on, but the furnace will.
