We have an AR one 17rd and do not permanently mount the tv anywhere. We keep it on the dinette when were camping then lay it down on the bed when traveling. It's a small 19" LCD TV with a built in DVD player. We use the stand that came with the tv.
As far as the power button goes, I think what you're referring to is the power you need to turn on when using the roof antenna.
