Yeah I wasn't sure whether or not to go for the 12 Volt tv/dvd combo or just get an AC current tv. I was leaning to one of the DC combos--that way we could use it if boondocking (no generator).
Any recommendations on one? I looked on amazon and every type seems to have mixed reviews
As been discussed to death on the forum most 110 volt tv's are 12 volts in disguise. Look for a 110 volt with an external transformer similar to a laptop cord. Check to make sure the transformer output is 12 volts. If it is 12 volt then just buy a cord to run from 12 volt outlet to the tv.
No "110 volt tv uses 110 volts. They all transform some with an internal transformer some with an external.
Best Buy and Walmart both have TV's as I describe
