Most reliable TV's by far are the name brand (Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic) 110AC ones and they can use a very small and cheap inverter to run off 12v DC power. We use a 19" Toshiba Combo with a built in DVD player that has outlasted 3 different 12v DC TV's that have each lasted a matter of months (Skyworth, Polaroid, Jensen).
Well-nuts are a safe way to mount a LED LCD TV to a wall. Best to verify with a small hole drilled (1/8" that the backing is there behind the paneling. If it is 1/2" particle board you will have what you need to support the weight.
