Bought the Starcraft AR-ONE 17RD in March of 2014. So far we have been out camping (6) times with the little trailer for a total of 2600 miles. Mostly Northern Michigan State Parks and some local private camp sites. The AR-ONE 17RD will sleep (4) but it is the perfect size for my wife and me & dog. The dinette is a full 54” wide, easily fits (4) adults. Trailer pulls very well without load levers but I continue to use the sway bar when traveling the interstate. So far we are loving it! I have made some minor modifications to our unit.
1). Added an extra 30 lb. propane tank and white tank cover to extend the furnace heat for a late September trip to the U.P.
2). Added the roof vent covers.
3.) Added a 19” TV / DVD player that mounted to the overhead side cabinet over the Rear Dinette. Mounted to a Swing Arm bracket that allows the TV to be pulled out past the upper cabinet. Ran the TV cable up from the wall outlet and used a wire duct cover to hide the cable. Ran the power from the receptacle inside the upper cabinet.
4). Added a 3” thk. Mattress cover to the existing mattress. We purchased the new memory foam mattress cover at Kohl’s and added an electric blanket also purchased at Kohl’s.
Included some photos.
