Washer and Dryer use?

If you have a washer dryer combo in your MH do you use everyday laundry detergent in it? Do you use a liquid fabric softener in it. Just want to make sure everything is ok going into the tanks.

I bought bathroom tissue today, put some in some water and gave it a shake or two. Does not look like it is what I want.

Thanks

I did not even think of using the pods, as there are these three little drawers that you pull out at once and fill with soap, fabric softener so on. Put I could just throw a pod in and close the door. hummm. Wonder if I can reopen the front door when it is in the drying cycle and throw in a dryer sheet? Oh so much to learn...lol.

In our w/d combo we use any HE liquid. Use a VERY small amount. About 2 tablespoons is enough. I use liquid fabric softener. I dilute it with water before adding it to the dispenser. Fabric softener helps the clothes not wrinkle so much.
We use Scott tissue that has rv and septic safe on the package.

    X2....
We do the same and also use Scott....
  • My wife uses TIDE detergent (in the orange bottle) that is all we use. Works great and not problems.

Fabric softener will not hurt the tanks. Have you ever heard of The Geo Method for your black tank?

For toilet paper, I just get anything that is 'septic safe'.

thank you I looked it up, and printing it off.

  • Thanks, I just checked the bathroom tissue again, and after giving it another shake looks like it will be fine. I bought Cahsmere Envirocare 100% recycled paper...said it was safe for septic and sewer systems.
  • We have a Splendide and use the Splendide detergent....very small amount.
