So do you leave. The waterheaater on all the time when boondocking or just turn it on before shower?

I leave mine on. I like to wash my hands with hot water - it's a pain in the rear to go light the pilot light (my is manual) and turn on the water pump every time my hands get grimy... And then I end up having to wash everything I touched with the grimy hands. Much easier to keep the water heater and water pump on and just turn on the faucet.
