Turn ours on in the morning with Gen start for coffee, then off with Gen off. The water stays nice and warm for washing the cold hands. Thenon again in the evening if the Gen is run again. If its a quick getaway in the morning for showers the the gas on too and shower before coffee is done. I even turn off most of the time overnight when hooked up, the house is a whole different story from an RV, I didn't just bounce the house around for 300 miles before bed. I turn off the water pump at night too if I remember and when we leave the RV for the day, mabe I'm old and pair i noid but I have set things for safety and it WORKS FOR ME.
