Just bought our first RV, a class B. The fellow at the dealer giving us an orientation to the vehicle recommended putting car wax on the inside of the toilet to help prevent "sticking." I've searched around the web but I couldn't find any chatter on this topic, so I'm hoping to find wise words here before we take our first trip next week. Thanks!

Then again, I recently upgraded to a ceramic bowl unit and it is much nicer in many respects, " sticking " included.

Is it a plastic bowl........then waxing it will helpIs it a porcelain bowl......then waxing it won't hurt Adding a bit more water to bowl prior to pooping will also help.Or take a small wad of TP and wipe skid marks off of bowl as you flush.Adding sprayer and using it to blast away at bowl is good addition. Many times you can add one onto blank stub on toilet vacuum breaker. Just open a hole in stub and install sprayer hose with clamp.

I have a plastic toilet and yes car wax helps with "sticking". Also, (now don't laugh) Spray Pam and Lemon Pledge help too.
