And we used to keep the water dripping out of the sink faucet for the vat to get fresh water. The feeder was a hopper type with a tray at the bottom. They just ate when they were hungry.
We felt guilty the first time we left the cats at home for a few days, but when we got home they were like "Oh, you came back? Great. Clean up those hairballs will ya?"
