Congrats!
You'll be re-organizing for a while still. Every time you go out, you'll find something else that just doesn't quite work where it's at. :) When you finally have it all figured out, you'll sit at the dinette table, looking around and thinking "I don't know what to do with myself - everything fits perfect."
For the cat, you might not need the timed dispenser. MOST cats won't overfeed themselves like dogs will - especially on dry food. They'll eat when they're hungry and sleep the rest of the time.
I have gone camping and done nothing but read the entire weekend. There is a wonderful sense of relaxation for me. At home, even if I decide to do nothing, every time I look up or walk into another room, I see things that need doing. With the RV, it's just "aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh".
I took lots to read! But, since this was our first trip, I spent most of the time doing stuff, and nothing. LOL
Sadly, the cat has to eat a wet prescription food. This timed feeder had compartments below to put little ice packs, so the food won't go bad. It should be here in a few days, and I'm going to start using it immediately to make sure it works and he uses it.
Good idea.I once bought an on demand release food dispenser for my pair of parakeets. The seeds were so small they got stuck in the tube and a smaller amount came out than needed. The less dominant of the parakeets didn't survive the ordeal:(.
