I am not qualified to answer regarding the percentage because I always purchased RVs for cash. Some of them were $500 TT and others in the same range.

Just make sure you understand that you can make those memories in a tent just as well as in a class A. Financing for a long period of time means that you obligate income that could be used for other things including the actual traveling.
