There was never any snarkiness intended and I wasn't trying to start a battle. I understand you might find someone who can turn you on to a better deal, a bank with a better rate, a better insurance company. My point......ONLY you know what you can afford.
Several of you have come back with how the internet has helped you find something, be it financial services, insurance at a better deal, etc. I agree and I tell everyone who is looking to buy an RV to narrow down their choices and then come to this and one other forum and do a search of that RV. Take the opinions they read with a grain of salt, but look more specifically for reoccurring problems with a particular RV. For that purpose the forum is great, but to come here and ask strangers to determine your personal budget, finances and what percentage of your income you should pay. That's scary. There is no special quotient needed. Either you can pay the payment or not.
