What to Look for in Purchasing a Travel Trailer

Don't forget that OSB in the floor or in the walls is a huge disaster waiting to happen. That and any kind of particle board:

Keep in mind that you'll probably want to change out the tires on the trailer right away, depending on which brand the mfg puts on there.

I switched out beforehand with 5 new Maxxis tires, as opposed to the TrailAmerica brand that Lance uses. While I'm sure they were a decent tire, I didn't want to take any chances, so I got 5 new tires, mounted with steel stems for $500.00.

As far as Azdel and another substrate called Compositek (which is Azdel like) you've narrowed your choices to only a few brands. Coachmen, Lance, Evergreen RV LivinLite Aluminum Trailers, Koala Trailers, nd there are probably a couple of others - can't remember right now. Not having wood in the walls will all but prevent delamination, increase strength (Azdel is strong stuff and lightweight)
