We bought the ideal Motorhome when we bought it. Our kids were 8 and 6 at the time and the bunks were a perfect choice. Now that they are bigger, they outgrew the bunks. I was able to make the bottom bunk wider for our son, but our daughter is on the cab over now (couldn't widen top bunk without it being in the way), so it still works out well. If we had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change anything.
I don't think there is a motorhome in our price range that would have better sleeping arrangements. I haven't found a Class C with standard sized twin bunks, plus a queen size bed in the bedroom. For 1 or 2 week long trips, our motorhome is great. Now we also camp seasonally, so for 4 - 5 months, it gets cramped after a month or so.
