- mepboatExplorerComing from living full time in a boat to living full time in a 5th wheel to living full time in a park model in south west Florida and traveling in a class B, Pleasureway Excel 2010, I have named the PW "The Keys Traveler". (They all had names). Obviously we travel the Keys extensively, probably 85% of our trips. I have found that our moniker lets others know what our priority is in traveling and if we can assist anyone who is traveling in the Keys with useful information we are more than happy to do that. I also think that these names say a lot about the occupants sense of humor, friendliness, etc..
- jjjandrbakerExplorerThe Colby T! Named after the Colby East building where the Jefferson's lived. I "moved on up" from my first camper, a popup called Casa Jim.
- GMandJMExplorerOur ViewFinder is "The Camper". Our Phaeton is "Arwon". When someone asks which rig is
ours, we point at it and say "That's Arwon" (Our One). - Chuck_thehammerExplorerall the things I have owned, I have not named any of them..
except one motorcycle... a 1983 Honda Aspencade... Gray Whale.. two tone gray.

When I had a boat it was "the boat"
I do refer to my tractors by name, I have the 8n, the "Ford",and the "A".
We have the"Camper", We have the "Car".
I can see where this next part may get confusing,we have two of the "truck" one being the a new Ram 1500 and the other being an'87 Chevy K 20. I manage to muddle through that problem by defining the chore at hand. If I am going to haul wood gravel trash manure, etc I use the "Truck." if I am going to venture onto a public road or go camping, shopping etc, we use the "Truck".
I have managed it so far with out labels! God willing it will remain so. - bukhrnNomad

I don't call them anything but truck, rig, car, tractor, chair, table etc.
Never got into naming objects or understanding the reason behind it.
The dang things won't come when called anyway.
My Dad use to call his work truck some names.........
X-3,
1. I never considered myself a Captain,& don't own a vessel
2. I don't name inanimate objects
3. It came pre-named,Forester - carpetguy2ExplorerThe Willy Mamouth
- Jim_ShoeExplorerI refer to my RV as "the RV". I refer to the Jeep toad as "the toad". I refer to my pickup as "the truck". I refer to my house as "the house". I only have one of each. It doesn't really matter. None of them come when I call them, anyway. And I quit naming inanimate objects around the age of 7.
