Thanks for the responses. It's got me wondering whether we need a ' mail forwarding' service such as Alternative Resourses in SD, we have an Aussie cousin with affixed address in Houston Texas & a very good friend (American) in the North of Colorado.very close to SD. Purchase, register in one of these states then drive it back to LA & start travelling. Anyone see a problem with doing this?
