Would You Buy A Gas RV If You Had To Do It All Over Again?

I'm still in research mode, watching every YouTube video on Class A and C RVs. The gas coaches are attractively priced but I'm really leery of buying anything with a Triton V-10 in it. It's a pick-up truck engine! No wonder it screams like a banshee when it's dragging 15 tons of metal and wood down the road.

For you gas engine hauler owners, would you buy another one? Am I missing something?

  • Yes, in fact I'm waiting on my new unit to be delivered. Take a listen to the new 2016 320 hp Triton with the new 6 speed tranny. Some say it does a great job getting up hills and is very quiet when compared to previous versions. This will be my first Ford as all others (4) have been Chevy/Workhorse based and some of those could drown out that Banshee.
  • my friend has a 2015 Georgetown V10 and tows a car on a dolly.

it runs as half rev's.. as it should... gas needs to run half rev's for power and mpg.
