Used a set of X-Chocks on each side of my 5th wheel as 'wheel chocks'
Yes there was a CYA legalese statement that came with them .
I know for a fact that they will not allow trailer to roll away.
I forgot to remove one ...and attempted to drive off.
At first there was a tug/hesitation with truck then a definite 'load' as I pushed the go pedal a bit more with very little forward movement.

Realized I still had one installed.......got out and it had rotated a bit and was now jammed between the wheels.
30 minutes later finally got it dislodged......no damage to tires or X-Chock
But they will stop trailer roll away.
Not intended maybe......not covered by mfg hence the CYA legalese statement
But they do :B
As with everything in life........risk/benefit.
One has to make there OWN decision.
Based on MY life experience, knowledge, criteria and personality I do things others might not. BUT I make that decision and deal with any consequences should I 'miscalculate'.
