Recently I have been using these with wheel chocks to secure the trailer before taking off the hitch. Last week, on an uneven site with the trailer up on one side on blocks to level it, the trailer rolled back when I unhooked, and the above got jammed (and broke) between the 2 tires. Fortunately it did not damage the tires, which it certainly could have. I will no longer do this, looking back, it is stupid to do so in my opinion.
Last year while having a tire replaced on site by a remote service company, I was told the above can bend an axle if too tight. Thoughts on this?
