From Sound Guy: "..... tires shrink noticeably as they cool so any X-Chock installed even as much as an hour of arriving on-site will loosen to the point where they have no grip on the tires at all."
And Old Biscuit wrote: ".....Based on MY life experience, knowledge, criteria and personality I do things others might not. BUT I make that decision and deal with any consequences should I 'miscalculate'."
And I am also from the same Old Biscuit mold in that I make my own decisions on these types of issues. I will also bet that Old Biscuit totally understands the cooling of the tires, as I, and checks and re-tightens the chocks after the tires cool. :S :h

Like I stated .....based on MY life experience etc etc
Soundguy has a problem with how I do things...but it's his problem

If you look back, few of his posts are informative, while the majority are confrontational blurbs telling posters how wrong they are and how right he is. Maybe needs to change meds......?
Au contraire - I've consistently pointed out
that the manufacturer Norco itself insists that their X-Chock not be used to actually chock the trailer, the reason being that tires shrink as they cool and when that happens the X-Chocks lose their grip on the tires. Whether you or others choose to ignore this advice is entirely up to you but it doesn't change the
facts of the matter. Your insulting response is typical - when you and others have no logical alternative argument
based on facts you resort to all you have left, which fools no one. Nice try, but no cigar for you. :R
