Okay, a slight hijack of this thread, because I'm not talking about flies, but about wasps.
I've tried using smallish plain brown paper bag filled with plastic bags to give it shape, in the shed to see if it really would work to keep wasps away. I'm totally amazed that it really does seem to work. Used to be when you went in the shed, you'd always get buzzed by a wasp or two. Since I've put in the bag, I've seen exactly zero wasps, and that's been about 3 weeks ago.
Okay, back to flies and other assorted annoying insects.
