I don't know what other choices there may be but I've had my Flojet Waste Macerator for 10 yrs now, use it extensively each season, and just had to rebuild it last year. Getting the correct parts proved to be a bit of a challenge since the interior design of the pump has changed somewhat but I'd otherwise have no reason to not recommend it as it does what it's supposed to do. :)
