? Removing Oxygenic Flow Restrictor

How do I remove the flow restrictor in an Oxygenics 'Fury' shower head? It doesn't appear to be able to be popped out like all the other shower heads I've worked on. All the info I found on www refers to the super-easy-to-simply-pop/pull-out restrictors.

DW had me replace OEM shower head with an Oxygenics. Sprays better than the OEM did with the flow restrictor removed. Not much, but better. However, still not good enough, not enough flow/pressure to make the pulse function work properly.
