I'm glad I read that. Most of those are on our To-Do list.
They still would be. California Route-1 still would be, but going there, I would be going to a couple of matches in Idaho and Montana. All of what I would have to transport is now illegal to posses in California and they have negated the "Peaceable Transit" with the new rules. If what I have gets confiscated and destroyed, that would be a very bad day. I guess that fixes SanFran and LA both as well as the SD Zoo and the Monterrey Aquarium.
Nobody with any sense drives anything nice in NYC. I did go to school there for one of first bachelors degrees. Chicago is only a little better. You can go around both.
They don't allow vehicles larger than a van on the Going to the Sun Road and for good reason.
We have been through St. Louis on a few occasions, there have been worse.
Toroweep, Death Valley and Dalton Highway are just places that one should be very prepared for before going. Friends with similar coaches go to Toroweep regularly.
