johnES --We have watched the Bears in Hyder it is quite a show, just up the road is Salmon Glacier I would like to return to see what is left of it
2gypsies --we have gone coast to coast ( as best you can) on Hwy US-2
at the time most was just 2 lane, problem with too much off the interstate is the price of fuel in some small towns.
Dick A --I realize I can never see 1/10 of the sights in just the USA, and I have been wasting a summer's travel now and then in Europe ( Australia & New Zealand fit in OK because we can go in the winter ). I started RV traveling 4 to 6 months each year at age 50 and I will hit 72 this summer I wonder how much more time I have left?
pnichols-- Great list of suggestions, most I have never been to. We keep the Ram Diesel and fifth wheel in Aptos at my Daughters little ranch, what town are you in in the Santa Cruz Mountains ? I spent 45 years in Santa Cruz area.
