Alas there is only one way to be sure.. But I'm going to ask you a question:
What converter is in that trailer?
With 3 pair of GC-2 Deep cycles (I will assume that is the size you have) you can charge at over 200 amps if you have a big enough converter,, I think 100 is about the biggest (That is the charger module i my inverter) so a couple kilowatts of portable Inverter generator (HONDA, YAHAMA, Champion, Et-al) can power a 100 amp converter for a fairly fast recharge during the day if needed.
I doubt your truck can put much more than 10-20 amps,, Not because of the limits of the alternator, but because of that long, entirely too small, wire that connectes the two together.
