I bought a 12 gauge 50 foot extension cord and ran it inside the frame rail under the trailer. I cut the outlet end off and installed a twist-lock connector, so it mates directly to the trailer's shore power inlet, which is on the very back of my trailer
The other end runs up near my propane bottles, and has plenty of slack to make the jump into the truck bed.
