12 volt tv?

12v I have found is Jensen-various screen sizes.Not many combined units around any more.

Using the cigareete outlet your limited to 8 amps, or what it says on the plate. About 100 watts.

Dont go bigger and draw too much as you will melt the wire in the wall and start a fire...

This is a modified sine wave unit i use for my vizio 26" uses 25 watts..

Alot of folks will get the more readily available 120VAC models from WALMART etc and use a low wattage PURE SINE WAVE inverter setup to run them. My duty PSW INVERTER is a 600WAA model but in your case you can probably get away with 300WATT size. This would be the place to charge all of your cell phones, cameras, and other charge items.

ALso some folks will look for TVs that have the 120VAC TRANSFORMER BRICK verses a 120VAC wired-in plug. You can pick up a DC cord from radio shack etc and run the TV direct from 12VDC bypassing the transformer in most cases.

The 12VDC ONLY TV items I have seen are pretty expensive items...

We use the VIZIO 22-inch TV and a standalone DVD player running from an inverter when camping off the power grid.
