Just keep in mind just running an electric heater probably will not do much for your tanks and other hidden lines etc found in larger trailers. Most trailers have a duct scheme with the Propane Furnace to heat these areas.
I also cannot depend on being able to use my generator anytime I want to. Most public places have generator run time restrictions in place where you can only run your generator a couple of hours in the morning and maybe three hours or so in the late afternoon. I have never been allowed to run my generator after 8PM at night and before 8AM in the morning at the public camp grounds including the National Forest areas here on the East side of the US. Out West this situation seems to be relaxed somewhat I guess especially at some public dispersed camping location...
In my situation I would be better off replacing my Propane Furnace with an installed CAT/WAVE type Propane heater installed that also has outside venting involved allowing me to camp off-grid without shore power.

We have a big problem running our installed Propane Furnace as it is way to much heat for our smaller floor space and also has a very loud 12VDC Blower Fan when being operated. Wakes us up everytime it kicks on...
We run two of these small profile OIL-FILLED portable Electric Heaters most of the time in our trailer and only use the Propane Furnace as a back-up source of heat when it is really cold. This low profile heater is great as it does not have any visible heated core or open flame and is probably the safest type heater you can use in a small more confined area. We have one setting just inside the access door area and the other one sitting near the unused tent bed area. Normally the one in the doorway is all that is needed. If we need to move more heated air around the inside we can sit one of those O2COOL 11-inch AC/DC/D-cell portable fans behind the heater. Moves air great...
