The alarm deal, you can workaround that by manually locking the doors anytime after the unlocking them with the key fob. Depending on the package, you might even be able to lock them using the power lock switch. If you have auto-arm enabled, you should be able to disable that in the vehicle setting menu.
To keep the power port on requires a programming change. Try the one inside the center console, which should be always on from the factory.
