2002 accord automatic transmission towing 4 down
Has anybody actually towed this year honda all four down without any problems.

- I’m assuming your Accord is an automatic. We’ve been towing our 2001 Honda Odyssey since 2004 and no problems.
However, MAKE SURE you follow the proper Honda Pre-Tow Procedure. I usually repeat it every 3-4 hours instead of the 8 hours specified by Honda.
Also, change the transmission fluid more frequently than the normal service interval.. While the mileage doesn’t acrue while towing, you’re still adding wear & tear to the tranny fluid. Cheap insurance. I usually change it every year.
