ok, next question. will a 2002 tahoe pull a 24 ft pioneer travel trailer, with no problem? The Tahoe has a 5.3L, and has tow package on it.

It may be OK. Look on the inside of the glove box door for the build sticker with the RPO codes. Find the one(s) beginning with "G" and post it here. That'll tell us what rear end ratio you have and how suitable it is for towing.
