2005 VUE warning lights

Question

my wife reports that a warning light goes on and after a while goes off, a picture of a radiator? like figure beside the 8 on the tach. and she says there is nothing listed in the manual for this.
she stopped at a service station and they thought it might be low fluid but they only added a small bit of water to fill it up.
any ideas?

That light indicates low coolant level. If the level in the coolant reservoir is right up and you have no overheating issues I suspect the sensor in the tank is dirty or failing. I suggest you check with the "experts" here www.saturnfans.com/forum Go to Models then to Saturn Vue, and put your question to them.
