Look at the Fit System mirrors at Amazon. I have them and they are awesome. They look like stock mirrors. They are heated, have the turn arrow and you control them just like you do your OEM mirrors.

In regards to what the OP is asking about extension length these are no different than the factory OEM mirrors. They are just clones of what he already has.
No, these go out much farther. Would anybody like me to measure what they are for comparison?
Bruce
I'd like to see a measurement. They look identical to the factory camping mirrors.
Ok, here are the measurements as mounted on my 2004 Chevrolet 2500HD:
The overall size of the glass in each mirror is roughly 8"x12"
Without the mirrors extended, the out to out measurement is 8' 1-1/2"
With the mirrors extended, the out to out measurement is 8' 8-1/2"
Measured perpendicularly off the window without the mirror extended, the measurement to the outside of the mirror is 16".
Measured perpendicularly off the window when the mirror is extended, the measurement to the outside of the mirror is 20".
How does, that compare to the OEM mirrors?
Bruce
within fractions of factory towing mirrors mirrors. on my 04 Silverado,
perpendicular to the window is 20" just like your measurement
out to out through the cab is 8'10" from plastic to plastic, about 1" shorter if measured to edge of glass.
