Good Day. . .Wanting to tow a 2011 Honda Element AWD / 4WD & if you have experience with THIS model & what the pre-tow daily requirements are please advise. . .TIA. . .

Definitely check your owners manual. REMCO indicates the 2011 Element 4WD can be towed as is but, not recommended over 65 mph.

I tow a 2011 Element 2WD. The manual says it isn't towable. Here is the deal; for whatever reason, Honda said the CRV is towable (both 2WD and AWD) but the Element is not EVEN though they share the same drive train. Tow away. But you must do "The procedure". Idle the engine, run the shifter down through the gears slowly,then back up (1,2,D, N) and let it idle five minutes. Never, ever go from R to N. Trans fluid schedule changes to every 30,000 miles.
