2012 Dodge 3500 SRW towing Jayco 334RBTS-which WDH?

Got the camper home today!

Have one quick question-if I let the slides all the way in they cover the heater vents in the floor. It's going below freezing tonight and I want to leave the furnace on with the slides in-I can let the slides in where they stick out about a foot and they don't cover the vents. Is it ok to leave the slides partially out for a period of time?
