Been looking at these hitches:
Curt hitches for Dodge Ram 3500
One of those has a capacity for 2550 pounds of tongue weight, is that a typo?
It sells for $275 on Amazon with free shipping.
The search says for a 2011 b/c they didn't have the option for 2012. I don't know of any differences in Dodge for those 2 years.
Holy cow....

I would really like to know what brand WD hitch has even a ,1700# WD rating on a 2" shank??? Not alone a 2,550# one???
Heads up before buying a 2" receiver, the only WD hitch shank that I know you can buy that is over 1,500# is the Reese Titan and it is a 2.5". If you really want to be able to use up to a 1,700# WD system, with built in sway control it is the Reese and it's 2.5".
Edit: Husky now has a 1,700# WD round bar hitch with friction bar but still uses a 2.5" shank
The 2,000# Pullrite but that is not using a receiver anyway.
Putnam did this same thing a long time ago as I bought one for my 2500 Suburban. They had a 1,700# WD rated Class 5 2" receiver and there still is no WD hitch made that can use it. I bought it for the added saftey factor as the Burb could only handle a 1,200# TW anyway and it was $20 more than the lower rated one.
