No contact with the dealer yet, they have been closed for the new year, I'll be calling them in the morning. But I did find the equalizer instructions in the bag with all of the manuals for the camper.
I've been pondering whether or not to just go ahead with buying a stronger hitch-our first trip will be in 2.5 weeks. If I do it will drop the shank down about 3.5" I would guess. With that I'm guessing that I would have to flip the shank up (180 degrees from where it is now) and reinstall the head-most likely using the bottom 2 holes at that point. I really like having the receiver high like it is now. So I got to looking around and found these bumpers with a weld in 20,000 pound weight tow rating and 6,000 pound tongue weight capacity!
