John, does the Reese WD head work with the 2" AND the 2.5" shank?
I'd use the 2.5 Dragr but in my case I( couldn't cuz I need a super long shank so the trailer & truck don't hit when I turn hard, a problem caused my the large pointy bow of our Komfort.
The Reese HP trunnion hitch head is rated up to 1,700# in WD mode. It is still 2" shank at the head. However the shank is the problem. The Reese 2 1/2" WD shank is made 2 1/2" all the way up to the last 3 inches or so. It then tapers down to 2" to fit the hitch head. I have not yet seen a WD shank of any brand rated over 1,500# in 2". All the ratings above 1,500# go to 2 1/2"
Not the greatest to show this but see here

Same thing on the 6" drop shank. Again hard to see

I have better pics at home. Will try and post a top shot later. Just checked in during lunch to get my RV.Net fix...
