2013 Fiat 500 using Classic Brake Buddy

We just traded for a new Fiat 500 and plan on using our 1 year old
Classic Brake Buddy. Is anybody using this combination and how is it working? The clevis did not fit the brake pedal and I called BB
and they sent me a newly designed clevis for the Fiat pedal. DH
has high anxiety that the BB will not work in the Fiat. We plan to set it up and at least see how the arm/clevis will fit, hopefully tomorrow or next day. Baseplate still has to be installed on car,
ordered and scheduled. He is just wondering if anyone is currently using this combo and your comments. Thanks.

  • True as far as weight of Fiat, around 2350 lbs. without going out and checking,
but our Ford manual for MH stated supplemental braking for towing if over 1,000 lbs. So, to be on safe side with MH and traveling through states with lower limit we just use it.

    Thanks, appreciate your reply.
  • I don't know what the 500 weigh's but probably does not need a braking system, as it's so light.
