2014 F-150 integrated brake controller question

Driving from Denver to Buena Vista with elevation topping out at 10,039ft, my ecoboost did great. Maintained the posted 65mph speed limit without a problem. I lock out 6th when I tow and truck only shifted down to 4th on the steepest of climbs.
