We purchased the 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4WD with the Active II transmission so we could dinghy tow it behind our motor home. We have towed it probably 5K to 6K miles at this time.
The Roadmaster tow bars are staying locked and performing as they should. So far these events have happened while travelling 45 mph or less (because of the rough road), but am afraid that it will happen while travelling at a higher rate of speed. We towed a Jeep Liberty for about 30K miles on the same rough roads with no problem.
The other concern is the electronic parking brake coming on at times when we have not turned on and have even double checked to be sure it was not on. Cost us a set of new rear tires already.
