Yep, Tekonsha has served me well.
I had a Voyager that was awesome. You have to set the level yourself but it was very easy to do. Mine was set and forget. I always set my trailer brakes a little aggressive.
I later got a Prodigy with the boost feature which sends a boost of power to the trailer brakes to make the trailer lead the TV when braking (very solid braking). Sweet brake controller but you only get three boost options. Better than the Voyager on paper but not like quantum shift better. The Prodigy has a digital read out and self leveling.
The Voyager had a pendulum dial on one side to set the level and a power dial on the other to adjust the power going to the trailer brakes. It only has a small led that goes from green when connected to the trailer and not braking to yellow for easy braking to red when heavy braking.
I like the LED better because it is a visual cue I can see that the brake controller is working out of my perephrial vision without taking my eyes off the road.
If my next TV needs a brake controller I would have no issues with either the Tekonsha Prodigy or Voyager. Both are really good proportional brake controllers. Just read the instructions on set up for any you get.
I personally will not buy anything but Tekonsha...JMHO
Thanks!
