I've seen the Caddy being towed, but not sure what they had to do to make it so. Check both Motorhome Magazine and maybe download the owners manual and see if they support "recreational towing."
My Mom has a 2011 MKZ and it has a nice ride and lots of power. On the newer model, the trunk opening is somewhat small. For example, she likes to take an ice chest when grocery shopping for her "cold stuff". It would be hard to get in the newer model. Still, not sure if it is towable 4 down. - LK23ExplorerYes, all three vehicles are towable four down.
- lj2654ExplorerI have a 2012 SRX. four wheel down towing is simple. Raise the center console cover by the shifter push a plastic button down and shift into neutral....that's it on this auto. I use a brakebuddy that hooks up and plug lights into receptacle and go!
- kjburnsExplorerThe 2014 dinghy guide on Motorhome magazine doesn't show any Cadillacs being towable. The MKX and MKZ with the 3.7l V-6 are towable in either FWD or AWD. The MKZ hybrid is also shown as towable. Personally, I would lean toward the MKZ as both a daily driver and a toad. Bear in mind that I don't have any experience with any of these cars. I'm just going by what I've read.
- gsander1ExplorerI tow a 2014 SRX. Just as described above very simple and foolproof to prepare. No battery drain as there is no key to be left on. Just like it is parked in your garage.
