2017 Malibu Dingy LT 1.5

Still cautious on buying the 2017 Malibu today. Besides removing fuses or disconnecting the battery is there a problem setting up the electrical harness. Some one mentioned before an issue with the cars back lights having to be modified because of being LD.
  • Roadmaster makes a switch you can install that eliminates the need to physically remove the fuse. Have on on my Sonic. Don't know about affect of LED tail lights.
  • To the best of my knowledge no 2017 Malibu has LED tail lights. The only LEDs on the 2017 Malibu are the LED daytime running lights on some models. I just checked the Chevy web site. I have a 2017 Malibu Hybrid and it too has conventional tail lamps.
  • BEWARE
Some 2017 Chevy's CAN NOT use baseplates even though they fit and the guides say you can tow because the base plate blockS a engine air intake.
