We were gone for 7 weeks this summer and went through less than 2 20 lb tanks.
We run our fridge 24/7 and use the stove to make coffee in the morning and a few meals.
We did not use the water heater, but did run the furnace 3 mornings.
In hot conditions we get just under 3 weeks from a tank, but we're not cooking inside.
We carry a 10lb tank for cooking outside (stove and BBQ)
