Of course, the manufacturer is defaulting to a 30 amp to ensure that the A/C isn't plugged into a marginal outlet maybe even powered by a lamp cord.
The Manual stated the coach is a 30amp coach. It even showed a picture of what the plug in should look like. It stated that the AC and refrigerator and maybe a few other things will not run on DC current and must be operated on a 30amp receptacle otherwise there could be damage to the appliances.
I just don't want to break anything because I'm stupid.
Better safe than sorry.
